Intersoft WebUI Studio® is now available in four editions: WebUI Studio for ASP.NET®, WebUI Studio for Silverlight®, WebUI Studio for WPF®, and the
ultimate WebUI Studio Premier®
edition, which includes a complete set of development tools for both ASP.NET,
Silverlight, and WPF platforms.
The new WebUI Studio also includes a new, download-on-demand installation technology
that enables you to select the desired edition from within the installation user
interface. The installer downloads only the required files, resulting in a smooth
and seamless installation process that minimizes download time and network resource
consumption. Get the most out of WebUI Studio in less time with hassle-free installation
experience.
Choose your preferred setup
WebUI Studio now ships with two installers – a web, download-on-demand installer
and a full, single extraction installer. You can request the download link from
Intersoft Product Trial
Center.
Choose the web installer for personalized product setup. With download-on-demand
technology, you only need to download a small 5MB initial setup file. The setup
will then download other necessary files required by your selected edition or products
on demand. Watch the web installation video.
Choose the full single installer for easier offline installation. With the download
size up to 770MB, this single installer setup s all features of WebUI Studio Premier®.
You can still customize the edition and selected products and features within the
installer interface.
Prerequisites checklist
Before installing WebUI Studio, please ensure that you have these following components
installed and working properly.
- Microsoft Visual Studio 2005/2008/2010 (recommended)
- Microsoft .NET Framework v2.0 or higher
- Microsoft Silverlight 4
- Microsoft Expression Blend 4
Customizing WebUI Studio edition
The new WebUI Studio setup now includes an option to let you choose your preferred
WebUI Studio edition right within the setup interface. WebUI Studio Premier is selected
by default. To customize WebUI Studio edition, simply select your desired edition
from the dropdown list.
Customizing Products and Features
The new setup also introduces a new feature that lets you customize installed products
and features which is available in the Personalized setup type. For instance,
if you want to evaluate an individual product such as WebGrid Enterprise, simply
uncheck other products by marking them with “Entire Feature will be unavailable”
option.
In addition, you can also customize the installed product’s features in the same
interface. For instance, you can exclude certain optional features such as documentation
or samples if you don’t need it.
When running on web setup, only necessary files associated to your selection will
be downloaded which significantly reducing download size and time.
Windows 7 Ready
WebUI Studio® installers are designed to support Windows 7 native installation
experience, enabling you to see the installation progress right from Windows 7’s
new task bar interface.
