Rich Design View

From sophisticated user interface, smart toolbars, intuitive task pane, and many more, WebTextEditor let users work with content authoring the same way and manner as in desktop word-processing.

HTML View

The HTML view allows users to develop more advanced contents by writing html markups directly in the editor. Unique to WebTextEditor, the HTML view displays its own toolbar that contains html-specific and codes writing related commands, minimizing the code-writing efforts. For instances, click on “bold” command will add tag to the current cursor position, type some text and then click on “close tags” to automatically add the closing tag. After changes have been made in HTML view, WebTextEditor automatically synchronizes the changes when you switch to Design or other views.

Split View

With Split view, users can work with both visual design and html code in a single interface, eliminating the needs to go back-and-forth between views while improving productivity at the same time. WebTextEditor also automatically synchronizes the changes as user changed the editor’s focus, ensuring each change is properly reflected to other views. When Split view is enabled, all three views will be enabled even though the Design or HTML view is disabled. This behavior is implemented since Split view requires both views to be enabled.

Preview

The preview mode gives users an instant way to preview the document before it is printed or processed further. It’s particularly useful when you have a set of different styles that you wish to apply during preview, for example, the styles of your real website or blog site. Preview mode also intelligently reflects the toolbar with preview-related functions such as zoom in, zoom out, print, and more. When mail merge feature is enabled, the preview will automatically fetch the real record from database and update the available labels in the document, making preview more intuitive to user. Navigational buttons will also be make available, enabling users to preview the mail merge of other records.
